Booking & Cancellation Policy

Please read this before you pay. Paying for a booking means you accept this policy.

1. Payment

• Full payment confirms your booking. Prices are in Saudi riyals and include VAT and the permits for your trip.
• You can pay by card, mada, Apple Pay, Tabby or Tamara, or by bank transfer when agreed with our team.

2. Changing your date

• Free up to 48 hours before departure, subject to available seats.
• 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50 SAR per booking, whatever the number of guests.
• Less than 24 hours before departure: the date cannot be changed.

3. If you cancel

You choose between a credit and a refund.

• A credit is valid for 6 months, can be used for any of our trips, activities and courses, and can be given to family or friends.
• Not showing up, or arriving more than 15 minutes after the meeting time, counts as cancelling less than 24 hours before. The boat leaves on time.

4. If we cancel

• We cancel when the Border Guard or the weather does not allow a safe trip, for other safety reasons, for a problem with the boat, or when there are too few guests.
• We tell you on WhatsApp as early as we can, usually the day before.
• You choose: a new date, a 110% credit valid for 12 months, or a full refund.
• If a trip is cut short for safety after leaving the marina, you get a credit for the part you missed, for example the second dive.

5. When there is no refund

• No valid ID. The Border Guard checks the national ID, iqama, visa or passport of everyone on board, and it must be valid. Without it you cannot board. You may move to another date once, for 50 SAR.
• Not allowed to sail. If the Border Guard does not allow you to sail, for example because of a travel ban, you cannot board.
• A medical condition not declared on our medical form.
• Refused or stopped for safety: under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following the briefing or the crew, or not holding the certification a dive needs. Where possible, you may join as a snorkeler instead.
• Deciding not to take part after the trip has started.

6. Safety, documents and medical

• Before the trip we send each guest a WhatsApp link for their details and health questions. Please fill it in before you arrive.
• Divers answer the diver medical questionnaire. If it shows that a doctor's approval is needed and you cannot get it in time, you may move to another date or take a 100% credit.
• Snorkelers answer six short questions. If one applies, you can still join, but the guide may keep you near the boat with a vest or ask you to stay on board. You may move the date or take a 100% credit until 48 hours before; once you join, there is no refund.
• Sunset and day-activity guests answer no health questions. Kayak, SUP and jetski guests confirm that they can swim.
• Certified divers dive within the limits of their certification and show their card or digital card.
• Flights: do not fly within 18 hours after your last dive. For any trip, leave at least 5 hours between the planned return to the marina and your flight. Trips can return late, and we are not responsible for missed flights.
• Each activity has a minimum age, shown on its page.
• Our dive leader may change the dive site, shorten or stop any activity for safety, following the rules of the Saudi Water Sports & Diving Federation (SWSDF) and the Border Guard.

7. Private boat charters

If we cancel a charter, you choose a new date, a 110% credit valid for 12 months, or a full refund.

8. Courses

SSI courses follow the course agreement you sign when you register. Its main rules:

• Training is completed within 45 days of registration. After that, we are no longer responsible for the course.
• You must be able to swim well enough for the course's water skills.
• To change a session, tell us early enough. We may accept or refuse the new time.
• The digital course materials (eBook) are not refundable once you open them.
• After the first session, a course cannot be cancelled, except for a medical condition that stops you from completing it.
• A missed session, or an extra session you need, is charged: theory 100 SAR, pool with entry 265 SAR, sea with entry 315 SAR.

9. How refunds and credits are given

• Refunds go back to the way you paid: a card within 14 days (your bank may take a few more days to show it), Tabby or Tamara through them, a bank transfer to the account that paid.
• Credits are sent by email and WhatsApp with a code.

10. Bookings on other websites

Bookings made on GetYourGuide, Viator or other websites follow the cancellation policy shown on that website.

11. General

• This policy is shown before payment and is part of your booking.
• If the Arabic and English texts differ, the Arabic text applies.
• How we use your personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
